Save: Use this option to save the image on which we have made changes. Shortcut keys of this option is also the use of combination keys (Ctrl+S).

Save as: If we have already saved the image we have and then applied changes to the image again and an edit has been made in it, we click on the Save button to save the changes, the changes will be saved on the previous version of the image, but if If we decide to save the contents of the image in a new file while keeping the original image fixed, we should use the Save as button to save. The shortcut key of this tool is to use the F12 button.

Print: If we want to print the desired image using printers, we need to use this option. The shortcut key of this tool is to use the combination keys (Ctrl+P).

Send to Email: If we want to send the desired image directly using email, we need to left click on this option.

Set as desktop background: If we want to use this image as wallpaper, we left click on this option.

Fill: The selected image covers the entire desktop and background.

Tile: If the image size is small, it repeats a large number of the same image continuously and displays it on the desktop or background.

Center: The desired image is placed in the center area of the Desktop or background.

Properties: If we want to change the Rulers unit of the program or if we want to make the image black and white, we use this tool. The shortcut key for this option is to use the combination keys (Ctrl+E).

About paint: Provides information about the Paint program.

Exit: We use this option to close the program.

Introducing the header: Home and its groups

Clipboard group:

Copy: Using this tool, we can copy the contents of the document and place it in another document or in another area of the same document.

Cut: If we want to copy a part of the existing text or a file from the document as a template so that the contents are no longer in the original document or the initial location of the text and it is completely deleted, we use this tool. Paste: This tool is

for Placement Places any text and files that are modeled using tools such as Cut or Copy.

Image group: Select tool: This tool is used to select a part of an image.

By clicking on the downward arrow of the Select tool, a drop-down list of tools will appear.

Rectangular Section option: This option is used to select a square or rectangular part of the image.

Free-From Selection: This option is used to select a part of the image irregularly.

Select All option: This option is used to select all the contents in the Paint page.

Invert Selection option: This option is used to invert the selected area.

Delete option: This option is used to delete the selected area.

By clicking on the Rotate tool, a list of options will be displayed, which will change the direction and rotate the selected image or page by selecting each one. It should be noted that if an area is not selected, the entire Paint screen will rotate by selecting any of the Rotate options. But if the area or part of the image or page is selected, it will rotate by selecting any of the Rotate options.

Crop: If we want to have a part of the image only on the page, we need to use the Crop tool.

Tools group: Pencil tool: This tool is used to draw lines and curves freely. To use this tool, we must follow the steps below. We left click on the Home tab.

Left click on the Pencil tool.

To change the font size, we left-click on the Size tool.

A drop-down list of font sizes appears. To select the desired size, we left-click on one of the items in the list.

In order to select the color for the Pencil tool, it is necessary to first left click on Color1.

Now we write the desired text by pressing the left mouse button and moving it.

Color Picker: This tool is used to sample the color of an image from the screen.

Fill with Color: This tool is used to color inside a closed shape. It is necessary to draw the desired shape first. Then we left click on this tool. Or we can select a sample color from the image using the Color Picker tool, then apply that color to another area of the image using the Fill With Color tool.

Using the Color Picker tool, we select a sample color from the image. It can be seen that Color1 has registered that color.

Now we left click on the Fill With Color tool. Then we put the mouse pointer inside the closed shape and left click. It can be seen that the inside of the image is filled with the desired color. It should be noted that the selected area must not be the same as the selected color.

Text: This tool is used to write text inside the image or page. To use this tool, it is necessary to first left click on the Text tool.

Then left click in the area of the page where we decide to type the text. A box will appear in which we can type the desired text.

If we want to increase or decrease the size of the desired box, it is necessary to place the mouse pointer on the square images next to the box, the mouse pointer will appear as a two-way arrow. Now we press the left mouse button and move it. Let’s say that the desired box is changing in size. After finishing the work, release the left mouse button.

To change the font color, it is necessary to choose a color from the Colors palette.

If we have already typed the desired text and want to change the color, it is necessary to select the desired text while it is still inside the frame type and then select one of the colors of the color palette. our text will be more colorful. and appear thicker than the surrounding texts. If we activate this tool before typing the text, it will cause the function of this tool to be applied on the text at the same time as typing.

Italic: By activating this tool, our text will be tilted slightly to the right. If we activate this tool before typing the text, it will cause the function of this tool to be applied on the text at the same time as typing.

View changes:

Brushes: This tool is used to draw curved and free lines artistically. To use this tool, we need to left click on the Home tab.

We left-click on the down arrow of the Brushes tool. A drop-down list of tools is displayed.

Left click on one of the items in the menu and select it and apply it on the screen.

To change the size of the Brushes tool, left click on Size.

A drop-down list of font sizes appears. To select the desired size, we left-click on one of the items in the list.

To select the color for the Brushes tool, it is necessary to left click on Color1 first.

Then select the desired color from the available color palette.

Shapes: This tool is used to draw different shapes. We refer to the Shapes group.

We left click on one of the shapes in this group. At the end, in order to draw, it is necessary to place the mouse pointer on the page and press the left mouse button and draw the shape, and at the end, after finishing the work, release the left mouse click. It can be seen that the desired shape is drawn with the selected size and color. To determine the size of the Shapes tool, we need to left-click on Size.

Outline: This tool is used to change the contours of the Shapes tool. To use this tool, it is necessary to left click on the downward arrow of the Outline tool.

A drop-down list appears. By selecting any of the items in the menu and drawing a change in the lines around the shape will appear.

We can also draw the image first, and while the image box is still active, we can left-click on any of the Outline tools and see its changes. Fill: This tool is used to fill inside the Shapes tool.

Then left-click on the downward arrow of the Fill tool. A drop-down list of tools will be seen. By clicking on any of the items in the list, changes will be applied inside the drawing.

Use of the View header tool:

Zoom group:

Zoom in: To enlarge the image, it is necessary to left click on the Zoom in button.

Zoom out: In order to reduce the size of the image, it is necessary to left-click on the Zoom Out button, and every time you click this button, the Paint screen will become smaller.

100%: By clicking on this tool, the page will be displayed in standard size.

Also, in order to zoom the page, we can zoom in and zoom out the document by clicking the positive (Zoom in) and negative (Zoom out) buttons in the Status bar area on the right side, or by moving the document slider

. hide: Ruler: by activating the tick of this option, the ruler will appear on the upper and left side of the screen.

Disabling Ruler:

Gridlines: By activating the tick of this option, the Paint page will be displayed in a checkerboard format.

Applying changes:

Status bar: by activating the tick of this option, the Status bar will appear at the bottom of the document page, and by disabling it, it will be hidden.

View applied changes:

In order to change the Ruler unit, it is necessary to left click on the File tab.

A panel will appear.

In the displayed panel, we left-click on the Properties option.

The Image Properties dialog box appears.

In this box, we refer to the Units area.

Units can be seen in this area, selecting each one will change the measurement unit of Rulers.

And if we want to change the size of the page, we need to change the numerical value of Width and Height.

If we need to return the settings in the height and width area to the default size, we need to left click on the Default button.

We refer to the Color area.

If we decide to change the color of the image, we use this area.

At the end, we left-click on the Ok button to apply the changes.

Use of the View header tool of the Display group: Full Screen: left clicking on this tool will cause the Paint page to be displayed in full screen size.
